We have been discussing the importance of water to all living things, so this week we will be conducting an experiment to see if plants really do need water. This experiement will also be an introduction to the scientific process. We started with our question "Est-ce que les plantes ont vraiment besoin d'eau?" (Do plants really need water?). Then today we wrote and drew our predictions. "Je pense que...". We set up our experiment and drew pictures and wrote about what we saw today. We will continue to record our observations until le 14 novembre. Here are some pictures:

| We remembered that water evaporates, so we put a plastic bag around this one to see what happens. |

| We coloured some of the water to make sure that the flower is drinking it and the water is not just evaporating. |
