Today we learned a little bit about germs. We talked about feeling sick, how it felt, and different ways we could be sick. We talked about staying home when we aren't feeling well so we don't spread germs. We tried a little experiment with germs. We had some hand sanitizer mixed with glitter, and Mme and two students put some on their hands. We pretended that the sparkles were germs. We then high fived, a student sharpened a pencil, a student put a book away, a student left the classroom. We then looked at where the glitter went - it was everywhere! On everyones hands, on our books, pencil sharpener, the doorknob... We learned about washing our hands and how important it is to do often.Monday, 25 February 2013
