We have been continuing to learn about liquids and solids for science. This week, we were mixing solids and liquids together. We learned that some solids dissolve, but others don't. We mixed salt with water, and glitter with water. The word in French we learned was
dissoudre, to dissolve. We dissolved Borax in room temperature water and in boiling water. Interestingly, the hot water dissolved all the Borax, but not all of the Borax was dissolved by the room temperature water. We let the hot water cool down and checked on it again the next morning.
